Sustainable growing is at the heart of everything we do

As a leading cannabis brand, we believe in the importance of corporate social responsibility and how our operations and decisions impact the natural and social environment.  Our code of business principles commits us to run our operations with honesty, integrity, and openness.  We know this isn’t easy to do, but we know that this is the right thing to do. 

We are currently charting our path to net-zero and we’ve made some decisions this year that we are proud of that lay the foundation for more progress.  Our commitment to our customers, people and planet is unwavering and we want to lead the way from within the industry. 

Our progress:

  • We set a goal of being a carbon-neutral business by 2030
  • We carefully select our suppliers and partners and ensure that they apply a similar standard and mindset about sustainability
  • We’ve implemented an infrastructure for staff (that can work remotely) can perform their jobs from home or elsewhere which cuts down both travel and CO2 emissions
  • We established precise and achievable ESG (environmental, social, and governance) goals and practices that will help us create sustainable impact for our brands and business
          • For example: 85% of our packaging is now recyclable, with a goal to get to 100% by the end of 2022
          • We use 100% biological insect controls to manage ‘pest insect populations’
          • We utilize ozonation for our irrigation recirculation system, which allows us to reuse leachate water with nutrients, that has not fully been used by the plants during regular irrigation cycles
